If you ask where is the best nasi kandar in Penang. My first choice is definitely here. From fried chicken, daging masak kicap and the list goes on. Usually this place is famous only for locals. Prices reasonable compared to other nasi kandar.

I wouldn't say this is one of the best NK I've had in Penang but it's definitely worth going again. I had my doubts at first as because this shop is not run by Indian Muslims, but after reading all the reviews I had to give it a try. Taste wise, nothing to complain, chicken was good (especially ayam kicap) and the kuah campur was great, just that it had a little extra sourness in it which is not something I like but some people may love it. The best thing about this shop is the price. I couldn't believe it when I was told how much I had to pay, definitely this is one of the cheapest NK I've ever had. If you want to give NK treat to a group of people, this place is highly recommendes :-). Overall, I enjoyed the food here and will surely look forward to come back again in the future.

This is a Malay-styled nasi kandar. The kuah mixture brought out what's actually great about nasi kandar with a harmony of the multitude of curries and the addition of black sauce. The beef is both flavorful and tender enough but the chicken is slightly dry. The curry fish and fish roe was sublime. However, the rice cooked with fried shallots and cloves is not as oily as other nasi kandar, which was actually a slight negative factor. Efficient service with split dine-in and takeaway queues, on top of affordable pricing. One of my newly added favourite nasi kandar joints of all time. Taste: 9.0/10 Return factor: DETOUR WORTHY

One of the most affordable nasi kandar options in the area, yet the flavour quality remains consistent and satisfying. The portioning is balanced, seasoning is well-controlled, and the overall taste profile is surprisingly good for the price point. A solid choice for anyone looking for budget-friendly nasi kandar without compromising on flavour.

One the best nasi kandar in Spg Empat. Thick curry gravy with aroma of spices. Friendly and efficient services. Must try if you are in this area. Even with simple fried catfish and cabbage with kuah banjir already made my day

Superb. Good delicious food, clean restaurant, good service and most importantly very cheap price for a Nasi Kandar. I ate rice with fried chicken, sayur kacang and telur masin... only cost me RM 6.10. They closed at 3 pm. There was a queue when I went there but we still got seat. It is a corner lot restaurant and it is quite comfortable... lots of fan. They do have a parking area in front of the restaurant.

Service quite slow, cashier girl please put a smile at least. The taste is biase² and not so strong compare to mamak style of nasi kandar. The price is quite cheap and affordable. Seat also seem quite limited.

I am a Bangladeshi citizen and get a lot of satisfaction from eating Malaysian food prepared by them. The taste of the food was amazing. They are very crowded here in the morning. People have to stand in line to get food. People love their food so everyone waits. And there are so many people here in the morning that it is all over before noon.
